“The Answer Is Yes”
In 2013, I met Dr. Jane V. Bissler, a nationally recognized grief counselor, clinical director, author, and developer of Loving Heart Connections®. That first session with Jane mesmerized me. I had never experienced anything like it. I watched her work and something inside me stirred, a quiet wonder: Am I being prepared for this work?
Mid-session, Jane stopped. She looked at me and said:
“They told me to stop and tell you the answer is yes. I don’t know what the question was that you asked, but the answer is yes.”
After that, I was all in. Regular sessions, classes, weekly meetings, for almost a decade. Jane became one of my greatest teachers and role models: supportive, patient, and deeply invested in the success of every student she taught. She went above and beyond for all of us.
Jane’s love and support are among the greatest factors in my spiritual growth and development, in my abilities to work with my Soul, my Spiritual Guidance Team, MAC, SADO, and the Creating Ripples collective. We still speak regularly and vacation together. She is not just my mentor. She is my dear friend.
Dr. Bissler developed Loving Heart Connections® and entrusted Desirée with both the methodology and the heart of the work. When Jane retired from clinical practice and teaching, SPIRIT confirmed Desirée as the steward to carry the system forward and channel its continued evolution.
